Doug Kriegel has two Masters degrees, one from Columbia the other from Stockholm University where he learned to speak Swedish. He spent 31 years at NBC-4 News Los Angeles, also did documentaries which aired on PBS SoCal and mini docs for the Dodgers Cable network. He won several LA area Emmys.

An ex-Marine reservist, Doug grew up in Brooklyn, where his first job was selling hot dogs at Brooklyn Dodger games.
